Giving Forum
The Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers (the Forum) is a national philanthropic leader and a network of 33 regional associations of grantmakers. A Map of the Craft (Grantcraft.org)
Grantcraft has complied input from hundreds of grantmakers on their approaches to the seven challenges of grant making: Leading, planning, grants management, finding allies, understanding the role, working with grantees, and organizing for impact. The skills and practices necessary to be successful in each of these areas are provided on the website. This site in general, as well as their publications are considered very useful tools for grantmakers.

National Commmittee for Responsive Philanthropy
NCRP promotes philanthropy that serves the public good, is responsive to people and communities with the least wealth and opportunity, and is held accountable to the highest standards of integrity and openness.

Philanthropic Studies Index
Philanthropic Studies Index (PSI) is a tool to locate information on voluntarism, nonprofit organizations, fundraising, and charitable giving. The bulk of citations currently indexed are from academic journals, dated 1940 to the present. Starting in November of 2003, we will begin to add dissertations, working papers, web sites and other information sources to the database
