New to your role in your foundation or grant making organization?  Or new to the Greater Boston Area?  Then please join us for an informational and conversational breakfast meeting.

The morning will include an overview and context of our region's philanthropy, Associated Grant Makers' role and how we can be of service in your position, and an opportunity to surface questions and build relationships with fellow grantmakers and funders.

Hosted by Jeff Poulos, Executive Director of Associated Grant Makers and featuring special guests Melinda Marble and Mary Phillips.

About the featured guests:

Melinda Marble has more than 30 years' experience in the nonprofit sector as executive director, consultant, teacher and trainer. Melinda most recently served as director of family philanthropy for Pilot House Associates and for six years at the Barr Foundation as Deputy Director and Interim Executive Director. Prior to Barr, Melinda served as Executive Director of the Paul and Phyllis Fireman Charitable Foundation, as a Senior Associate at the Philanthropic Initiative, Vice President for Program at The Boston Foundation, Program Executive for the San Francisco Foundation, and the first Executive Director of Northern California Grantmakers.

Mary Phillips is a founding director and President of GMA Foundations. She leads consulting services at GMA, specializing in program design and assessment, planning for transitions, training, retreat planning and facilitation, foundation start-up services, and foundation management. Mary was a long-time board member and past chair of Associated Grant Makers. She has presented, facilitated and written for the Council on Foundations, the Association of Small Foundations, Exponent Philanthropy, and the National Center for Family Philanthropy. Mary is a founding member of the National Network of Consultants to Grantmakers.

Refunds: When an event or program requires payment, payment is required in advance unless alternative arrangements have been made with an AGM staff member. If payment has not been received and/or arrangements have not been made three or more business days before the event date, AGM reserves the right to cancel your unpaid reservation. AGM does not provide refunds, but a credit good for one year may be issued for future events if notice of nonattendance is received three or more business days prior to the event. If you need to cancel your event registration, please email AGM staff at info@agmconnect.org.
