In partnership with Bank of America Charitable Foundation, AGM is proud to announce the twenty nonprofit organizations from throughout Massachusetts that will be participating in the Nonprofit Learning Institute. Entering its fourth year, the Nonprofit Learning Institute is comprised of a series of technical assistance and capacity building sessions around board management & development, board engagement, and major donor fundraising. The sessions provide an opportunity for leaders within the nonprofit organizations to build their capacity. Sessions are taught by experts in each topic area. Twenty nonprofit organizations were selected to participate through an application process. Selected organizations also can participate in building the growing network of 60 other nonprofit organizations who have participated in past cycles. The following organizations have been chosen for this year’s program: American Textile History Museum, Association to Preserve Cape Cod, Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood, Disability Rights Fund, Doc Wayne Youth Services, Essex Art Center, Express Yourself, Homes for Families, John F. Kennedy Family Service Center, Massachusetts Nonprofit Network, Neurofibromatosis Northeast, Safe Havens, SpeakEasy Stage Company, StageSource, Talking Information Center, The Bridge Center, Treehouse Foundation, Victim Rights Law Center, Women’s Lunch Place, and YMCA Boston – Dorchester.
