Background: 
Established in 1989 in MA - The Highland Street Connection was established by David J. McGrath Jr., the founder and owner of TAD Resources International, Inc. After David's death, the foundation received the majority of its current endowment. In his lifetime, David and JoAnn, contributed to a great number of charitable causes. Today, JoAnn and their five children, serve as the Highland Street board, and continue the traditions that she started with David.

  • Program-Related Investment — Historically, the foundation has made low interest loans to non-profit organizations so they can purchase permanent program or overhead space, and so they can make loans for affordable housing available to low income families.
