“Women & Girls and the Justice System: Making a Difference in Greater Boston”

Guest speakers at W&G’s November funder’s discussion highlighted some of the factors driving women and girls into the criminal and juvenile justice systems. At this follow-up brown bag lunch we will further explore this issue with some local practitioners actively engaged in creating better outcomes for women and girls and discuss opportunities for local funders to play a proactive role.

In November 2007, W&G hosted a funder discussion on women and girls and their involvement in the criminal and juvenile justice systems. We were pleased to have so many friends in the room, interested in this important issue, and dialoguing openly about how the philanthropic community can work to ensure the supports these women and girls need are available.
