In collaboration with Jumpstart Labs and MassKids, we invite you to a forum for philanthropists and grantmakers to learn about the Child Safety Pledge, an innovative philanthropic strategy to combat child sexual abuse in youth-serving organizations. Signatories to the Pledge commit to holding grantee organizations that work with kids to high standards for best practices in child sexual abuse prevention and response.

Piloted in the Jewish community, the Pledge is making inroads into the broader philanthropic world. Learn about the genesis of the Pledge, original research demonstrating its need, and how we can work collectively as funders to keep kids safer while in the care of the organizations we support. Receive information about prevention resources available to assist your grantees to train staff and volunteers, screen prospective employees, develop Codes of Conduct, respond to boundary-violating behaviors, and report suspected or disclosed cases of sexual misconduct and abuse.
