Associated Grant Makers is currently seeking candidates for potential AGM Board Directors to begin serving in June 2016. We welcome your nomination of individuals you believe would make a meaningful contribution to AGM and the field of philanthropy. Serving on the Board is a rewarding experience, both personally and professionally, accompanied by leadership responsibilities and a serious commitment to the welfare of AGM.
- be staff, trustees and active leaders in the field of philanthropy
- reflect our diverse membership from all organizational types and geographic regions
- be drawn from the broad range of racial, gender, age and multi-cultural diversity in our community
In particular for 2016, individuals in the following categories are sought: experience in finance; experience in marketing, communications and/or branding; foundation trustees; persons of color; representation from Greater Lowell/Lawrence, New Hampshire, and Cape Cod.
Board terms begin in June 2016 and are three years (with an option of renewal for a second term). Meetings are held four times per year plus one Annual Meeting, and directors are expected to serve on a committee.

The Governance Committee will review all nominations and recommend a slate for review by the Board of Directors and then election by the Members at the Annual Meeting to be held in June 2016.
